from all the WiFi enabled smart plugs I've first picked up the Gosund SP111. It has a small form factor (doesn't interfere with other cords in a power strip) and has capability to measure the consumed power.

Unfortunately, I found out, that this plug has changed the internal components and since version newer as 1.1 cannot be flashed with Tasmota firmware. I've selected the SP111 over EP2 because of possibility to flash the device without disassembling.

But there is other plug, Nous A1, which is the original Gosund SP111 under another brand.

there are two possibilities to flash Tasmota:

• direct serial flashing (plug needs to be disassembled)
• Tuya Convert - I've used this option, you just need a linux box with WiFi adapter (VM with attached USB WiFi module or Raspberry Pi is OK)
